Ran 4 miles in gougane. Parked near the hotel and then did the loop. That was great fun, although the hill was tough.

Day One Hundred and Four

Since the dog has been home alone the last few days (in addition to yesterday evening when I was at camogie), I decided to take him out for a run in Gougane Barra. It was a gorgeous sunny day and we had a good time. I worried about him overheating but he did okay.

Day Fifty-Two

I did a mile around the house to let Toby burn off some energy, then I bundled him into the car and we drove out to Gougane Barra. We parked near the hotel and then ran into the park. My goal had been to run the paved loop through the woods but it was apparent to me that I'd underestimated the distance from the hotel to the lower parking lot. Instead, I just ran a little ways in, then explored a pedestrian trail and then headed back to the car.
